Constituency 2

Quinton Sherlock Jr.

A Passion for Education, Community, and Revitalization

Representing the vibrant community of Constituency 2, I am proud to call this place home. Born and raised here, my early years at Victor Scott School shaped some of my most cherished memories and instilled in me a deep love for the people and culture that make our community strong.
For over 20 years, I have dedicated my career to the self-help field, working as an addiction counselor to empower individuals on their journey to healing, self-discovery, and renewal. My greatest passion lies in mentoring young people, helping them recognize their true potential and embrace a meaningful, fulfilling life here in Bermuda.

Quinton Sherlock Jr. is a dedicated educator, community advocate, and champion for revitalizing St. George’s. With deep family ties to Bermuda’s rich history, he is the nephew of St. George’s Cup Match legend Clarence Parfitt and a proud descendant of Bernard Hodsoll and Pilot Jimmy Darrell—figures who have played a significant role in shaping Bermuda’s legacy.

Quinton has spent his career uplifting communities, empowering youth, and advocating for strong education systems, both locally and internationally. His work has always centered on creating opportunities for others, fostering personal development, and ensuring that future generations have the tools they need to succeed.

A Career Dedicated to Education & Community Development

As a passionate educator, Quinton has taught at almost every level of Bermuda’s education system, including lecturing at Bermuda College. His experience has given him a firsthand understanding of the challenges within the education sector, and he remains committed to improving access, resources, and outcomes for Bermudian students.

Beyond the classroom, Quinton has been a driving force in community development. He has:

  • Organized and led youth camps, fostering mentorship and leadership among Bermuda’s young people.
  • Worked as a community development officer, helping to strengthen local community centers and create spaces for youth engagement.
  • Co-founded an NGO in Ghana, providing underprivileged children with access to educational opportunities and personal development programs.

His work in both Bermuda and abroad reflects his deep belief in the power of education, mentorship, and opportunity to transform lives and uplift entire communities.

Revitalizing St. George’s & Building a Stronger Future

As the candidate for Constituency 2, St. George’s West, Quinton is committed to bringing new energy and ideas to the community while addressing key issues that impact residents and businesses. His priorities include:
