Omar Dill

A Career Dedicated to Service, Safety, and Community

Omar Dill has dedicated his career to public service, safety, and advocacy, ensuring that Bermudians receive the support, security, and resources they need to thrive. With hands-on experience across social services, emergency response, and housing advocacy, Omar has worked on the frontlines of Bermuda’s most pressing challenges, gaining first hand insight into the realities faced by families, youth, and vulnerable individuals.

A Professional Journey Rooted in Service

Omar’s commitment to helping others began at Tomorrow’s Voices, where he worked as a behavioral therapist, supporting children on the autism spectrum in developing communication and life skills. This early experience shaped his passion for empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

His career path then led him into social services, where he became a residential care officer, working directly with at-risk youth to provide guidance, structure, and support for those facing difficult circumstances.

Recognizing the importance of public safety, Omar joined the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service as a firefighter, responding to emergencies, including the devastating Front Street fire. His dedication to protecting Bermudians later extended into aviation safety, where he became an air traffic controller, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of flights in and out of Bermuda’s airspace.

Today, Omar serves as a case manager at HOME, where he focuses on housing advocacy, helping individuals facing homelessness secure stable housing and access essential support services. His work involves direct client engagement, coordination with agencies, and long-term housing solutions, tackling Bermuda’s ongoing housing crisis with compassion and strategic action.
